A Memorandum of Understanding between The Nobles for Sustainable Development and Hussein Cancer Foundation/ The Jordanian Breast Cancer Program
The Nobles for Sustainable Development and Hussein Cancer Foundation/The Jordanian Breast Cancer Program signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Monday, April 25th, at the Foundation’s building, aiming to implement a number of joint activities and awareness projects targeting local communities in the capital Amman and other governorates of the Kingdom, and the two teams agreed to contribute to encourage the youth to implement youth initiatives to serve the local community, especially in the field of women’s health and the society for the early detection of cancer disease.
Dr. Lara Nabil Burqan, president and founder of The Nobles for Sustainable Development, signed the Memorandum of Understanding. Dr. Burqan said that we are proud of this partnership with an effective national organization at the local, regional, and global levels. We hope to be responsible, and we will work with the foundation to establish the principles of participatory action and good citizenship by supporting youth to implement initiatives and campaigns for cancer awareness.
Dr. Burqan added that the Nobles will carry out and coordinate workshops and awareness lectures for the pharmaceutical sector with the foundation to advertise on the online platform of Pharmtrain, and launch an advanced qualification program to serve the pharmaceutical sector with the related authorities, implementing our role as pharmacists as consultants to primary healthcare and our core role in the medical sector.
Dr. Reem Al-Ajlouni, Director of the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program, expressed her happiness in cooperating with the Nobles to establish projects related to the program and prepare them for the training plan for the programs to be approved by pharmacists and the local community.
Al-Ajlouni added that in the Jordanian Breast Cancer Program, we all trust this partnership and work to expand it through training and qualification, especially with the Nobles’ volunteers for their great experience in initiatives and volunteering campaigns in their fieldwork, represented by Dr. Burqan, with her significant experience in volunteering and charity initiatives.
