A Memorandum of Understanding between The Nobles for Sustainable Development and The Hussein Cancer Foundation

On September 18, 2022, the founder and executive director of The Nobles for Sustainable Development, Dr. Lara Burqan, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the General Manager of Hussein Cancer Foundation, Mrs. Nisreen Qatamesh, to empower and educate pharmacists in Jordan to exchange experiences and possibilities, thus raising awareness in the fight against cancer.

Qatamash indicated during the signing of the memorandum at the institution’s headquarters that the agreement focuses on training pharmacists to be field educators in the fields of promotion of a healthy lifestyle to fight cancer through workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach by launching private and joint projects to support cancer patients and promote the foundation’s programs as a cancer insurance program (sponsorship) and many other campaigns and programs.

For her part, Barqan emphasized that the memorandum comes within the framework of the development and strengthening of the areas of joint cooperation between the two institutions by establishing a coordinating relationship between them in the field of empowering and educating pharmacists in Jordan as primary healthcare providers through awareness campaigns and scientific training on the Nobles Platform (Pharmtrain) as a project ready to raise social awareness of healthy habits at all levels of society and using modern technology and science combined to provide the best for the benefit of society and institutions.
