First Training Program
#FirstTrainingProgram
The first training program for the Nobles for Sustainable Development volunteers was concluded today, August 18, 2022, with the support and sponsorship of the Jordan Breast Cancer Program. The program lasted for three days at the Geneva Hotel in the capital, Amman, to educate and train pharmacists to qualify them as educators and trainers in cooperation with the Jordan Breast Cancer Program. They were trained to deliver lectures and raise awareness in the local community about breast cancer.
On Thursday, the participants in the training received their certificates from Dr. Reem Al-Ajlouni, the Director of the Jordan Breast Cancer Program, and Dr. Lara Burqan, the founder and executive director of the Nobles. Dr. Al-Ajlouni said, “We are pleased to launch such a training program with new blood to raise awareness about breast cancer and provide support for patients and survivors of the disease. We are proud to cooperate with the Nobles, represented by Dr. Lara, and we will continue to support them in every way possible by launching training programs and initiatives for pharmacists, in particular.” Dr. Barghout expressed her gratitude to the volunteers for attending the training course and her pride in them as providers of primary healthcare through their work in various pharmaceutical institutions. She also thanked Dr. Reem and the trainers for their cooperation in launching such specialized and educational training programs for the local community in general and for pharmacists. She wished everyone good health and safety and praised the role of the program, center, and institution in terms of early detection and saving lives.
